Elsa von Gerner is a stunningly gorgeous 4-month-old AKC German shepherd puppy who has a playful yet gentle temperament.  She and her sister Anya landed at Westside into loving foster homes via a Good Samaritan.  Elsa’s foster mom enthusiastically describes her as “a bundle of puppy energy and joy encased in a velvety soft coat; she is inquisitive, smart, sweet and loving!”  She enjoys a good romp in the yard with her much larger foster fur siblings, being respectful of and learning from her role models.  Her softer, mellow side emerges as she enjoys a warm snuggle and supple strokes in her foster mommy’s lap while showering her with sloppy puppy kisses to show her appreciation. She is quickly learning where to 'do her business' and when it's time to settle down for a quiet evening to get ready for her furrever home. This well-bred puppy is the epitome of a quintessential shepherd, exhibiting the intelligence, alertness, and aptitude you’d expect of the breed; for this reason, we are looking for an experienced shepherd home that appreciates and understands these special qualities.  Elsa is being loved and well-socialized in her foster home while she waits to meet you!  Elsa will require a higher adoption fee.
